When dealing with 8mm film it's usually a hassle to set up your projector and load each reel one at a time sometimes every 3 or 4 minutes. We take the hassle out of that process by digitally capturing your film to our high end editing system. Our system scans each frame of your film, flicker free, for the perfect picture.

At no extra cost we remove any bad footage, such as the leader or overexposed film, and add a title of your choice to the beginning with the option of adding more. Custom labels and editing is also available. We will include 1 DVD with your order in a thin jewel case. You can also get a VHS instead of a DVD if you wish.

We charge 24 cents a foot with a minimum charge of $20. The smallest reels usually have about 50ft of film with the medium having 200ft and the large about 400ft. Most of the large reels have the footage marked on them. It is commonly believed that the small reels have 25 feet of film, rather than 50, because the small yellow boxes that they're stored in usually say this. The reason for that is the yellow boxes is what the film was originally packaged in before it was used. After it is full the film needs to be developed and that process splits the film down the middle making 25 feet into 50ft. Large reels are simply just two or more small reels spliced together onto one.
